The talented and handsome young actor took to the 40 Rock stage to deliver his opening monologue dressed by top stylist, Sam Spector, in a custom Hickey Freeman suit and a bespoke Hamilton Shirt!

The American Masters series puts a spotlight on famed design couple, Charles and Ray Eames. Airing on PBS tonight from 10pm to 11:30pm (12/19) this documentary is certainly one not to miss if you are at all interested in style and design.

From the PBS website:  American Masters presents the first film made about America’s most important and influential designers, Charles and Ray Eames, since their deaths in 1978 and 1988, respectively — and the only film that explores the link between their artistic collaboration and sometimes tortured marriage. Jason Cohn and Bill Jersey’s definitive documentary delves into the private world the Eameses created in their Renaissance-style, Venice Beach, California studio, where design history was born.

The first hour was really great – I was so glad I tuned in. Check your local TV guide, first run episodes are on Sunday nights at 10, but PBS specials tend to get repeated. You can even watch it again online. After viewing last nights episode, it made me wish that this was the kind of American history that we learned in school!

This “adventure angler” Jakub Vagner travels to extremely remote areas of the world to track down and hunt for very rare and extremely strange species of fish.

Really?

In the premiere episode of the new series, Jakub treks to a super remote area of the Amazon rain forest to search for an Arapaima – a species of fish, virtually unchanged since the Jurassic period, that grows to massive proportions. It looks like the dude is hunting dinosaurs…literally. Even the stressed out narrator refers to the fish as a freshwater leviathan.

This fish is so scary, it even eats birds and monkeys that it finds at the waters surface. Wait until you see what this fish looks like, at one point Mr. Vagner even jumps in the water with it. It’s TOTALLY NUTS!!

Monday, July 26th at 9pm. National Geographic Channel.
