Memphis Beat
Wednesday, May 26, 2010
Airing June 22nd on TNT at 10pm, a new program called Memphis Beat will definitely be a show to watch – and for many good reasons. The new night time drama features a Memphis cop, played by Jason Lee, who moonlights as an Elvis impersonator that still lives with his mother. He also likes guitars and whiskey. This sounds like my kind of show!
Jason Lee is such a great actor – I’ve been a fan of his since the early nineties when he started appearing in tons of cool stuff such as…Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Almost Famous, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Dogma, and of course most recently, TV’s Earl. The new show also stars the fantastic Alfre Woodard as demanding boss, Lt. Tanya Rice, and costars the very recognizable character actor DJ Qualls as Jasons protĂ©gĂ©, Sutton.
We also received some advance word here at Hamilton Shirts HQ that we are really going to like what Jason will be wearing on the show…we can’t wait to see. There is a certain blue shirt in the above picture that looks kind of familiar!
