Houston’s Best Chefs

This week some of the best restaurants in Houston were bestowed with nominations for the very prestigious James Beard Award. This award, which is considered the Oscars of the food world, recognizes the best and the brightest in the food and beverage industry. The James Beard Foundation Ceremony will take place on May 3rd in New York. Congratulations go out to:

  • Robert Del Grande of RDG + Bar Annie, nominated as a semi-finalist for Outstanding Chef
  • Jim Goode & Levi Goode of Goode Company Restaurant Group, nominated for Outstanding Restaurateur
  • Justin Basye of Stella Sola, nominated for Rising Star Chef of the Year
  • Plinio Sandalio of Textile, nominated as Outstanding Pastry Chef
  • Richard Knight & James Silk of Feast, nominated for regional Best Chef of the Southwest
  • Bryan Caswell of Reef, also nominated for Best Chef of the Southwest
