Since the blog has been turned over to all things Valentine this week, the next item on the list of getting things right is CHOCOLATES. I have to admit that even though I love those big red heart shaped boxes from the CVS, you can definitely do better.

For this we recommend The Chocolate Bar. With one store in Rice Village and a second location in River Oaks, you can easily make the effort to get to one of them. These stores are outrageous…you name it, they’ve got it and they’ve dipped it in chocolate. Bonus for while you are waiting…you can order yourself some of the best ice cream ever, or better yet, a piece of cake that will have you doing penance on the treadmill for weeks.

Another place that kept coming up during my scientific research on what ladies love for the V-Day is…Crave Cupcakes. Girls love cupcakes, I’m really not sure why, but it seems to be a very well known fact. For the upcoming big day, Crave is offering a special “I Crave U” cupcake..which sounds kinda sexy, I like it. They will also deliver!
