The best BBQ in Houston? We are certainly smart enough not to get involved in that argument.

One thing we do know is that Goode Co. Texas Bar-B-Q is certainly one of our favorites. The three locations serve up fantastic slow cooked smoky mesquite beef brisket, sausage, duck, turkey, and pork ribs. Also delicious are all the sides – cole slaw, jalapeno pinto beans, potato salad, jambalaya Texana, and Austin baked beans.

Goode Co. Barbecue

Most (if not all) meals are served along with a jalapeno cheese bread which is almost as good as the barbecue itself. Don’t even think about passing on the dessert – Goode Co. is famous for their pecan pie and you, of course, wash it all down with some icy Dr Pepper. The pecan pie has become so famous and sought after, that you can order it from the Goode website and it comes shipped in a very cool wooden box for just $29.95.

    For total package-quality of the Q, sides, and desert (the pecan pie is outrageous) I would say you could put it in the top 3 and maybe it is number 1.
