Never Enough Lights
Saturday, December 19, 2009
You know what? Its true…there really are never enough lights for Christmas. I love it when someone in the neighborhood goes completely insane with decorations – from animated moving figures, to programmed music, millions of lights, the works. Every town has at least one, and if I had a house it would be mine too.
Every year I really look forward to the YouTube video postings of the Roderique Family of O’Fallon, Missouri, who really take the prize when it comes to holiday lighting. They’ve decorated their home this way for the past four years, and its gotten so big that they’ve even moved into their neighbors yard (Thanks Jeff & Andrea!). You can even check out their website, neverenoughlights.com, where they post interesting stats (74,295 lights), links to all the video clips, and directions to the house if you happen to live in the neighborhood.
It seems that the most asked question to the Roderiques is “what must your electric bill cost?” The answer, which they thoughtfully scanned and posted for all to see, is about $52.73 for November, and $50.16 for December 08. Now, THATS what I call a Christmas miracle!
Here are some of the Roderique Family classics, reworked for 2009:

J’ai découvert il y a peu de temps “trans siberian orchestra” et les illuminations associées. C’est un vrai plaisir de voir et d’écouter. Mon chouchou est wizards in winter
