Located a little north of downtown, Ray’s is the hot dog and hamburger place of your dreams- or perhaps nightmares! With a horror movie decor and a menu based on classic monster movies, this six month old family run business is a real welcome addition to the Htown restaurant scene.

Featuring signature dogs like the Creature from the Black Lagoon -served up with chopped onion, chili, and melted cheese, or The Mummy -a bacon wrapped deep fried hot dog; one word, WHOA. I also like the sound of the Scissor Sticks, which are crisp sliced, hand breaded onions, that are fried along with thin sliced jalapeno. Big portions, great prices, and a large array of ingredients make Ray’s a gourmet hot dog and hamburger lovers paradise. If after eating all this you can still manage to eat some more, Ray’s even serves their own homemade desserts including a delicious Pin-Head cake!

    Thanks for the tip. This is near the office so went over there with some people from work today. The hot dogs were really good. The parking is a little tough to find and there aren’t many tables. If the Hamilton blog sends too much traffic there way they may be in trouble. Good food and a fun trip though.
