This is the time of the year to reflect back on all the good things that we have to be thankful for. Sometimes its easy to lose focus of the big picture, especially when we are are all worried about the small stuff during our daily grind. Last week, Kelly Hamilton introduced me to the website of the artist Jared Dunten based in Austin, Texas- and his work will definitely be an inspiration.

After checking out Jareds artwork, I was intrigued to read his bio. I was very surprised to see that this talented artist is paralyzed from the neck down after breaking his back during a diving accident. Family and friends rallied to his side- and with their help, Jared rebuilt his life and home. Discovering his talent for painting, he uses his mouth to create these beautiful images.

His goal is to eventually paint himself out of his chair, and to bring funds and attention to the condition that he hopes will someday will be curable. Check out Jared Dunten’s website HERE. and you can also support his charity Will Walk HERE.
