Considered one of the best of its kind in the country The Theta Charity Antiques Show will be held at the George R. Brown Convention center starting Thursday, November 19th and will run through the 22nd. Originally founded in 1955, the show has raised over 5.5 million dollars for medical research, the cultural arts, and educational endeavors. This show will feature antiques and collectibles from over 50 of the best dealers from around the world, with vendors presenting objects from the 17th through the 20th century. The show will certainly be fun to browse, and you might even be able to get in some early Christmas shopping that does some good at the same time.

Highlights include Early American Flags from dealer Jeff Bridgman American Antiques, like this 1861-63 Civil War period flag with 34 stars arranged in a rare great star configuration.

And Texas based artists like painter Jon Flaming, represented by David Dike Fine Art of Dallas, Texas.
