Here are some Hamilton Shirt tips for dressing cool this summer-
- Light colors deflect heat. You can never go wrong with a crisp white shirt
- Try wearing patterns that conceal perspiration. Ginghams, small plaids, madras
- If you have to wear a necktie, wear a knit silk or a cotton woven tie
- Wear lightweight sports jackets and trousers. Poplin, linen, seersucker, cotton drill are all classics
- Look for unlined, unconstructed jackets. No interfacing, no padding, nothing to weigh you down
- Don’t wear socks
- For a summer party or wedding, dress up. You will always be appropriate and you can always loosen up on the dancefloor
- If dressing for work, follow your bosses lead and wear what he wears
- Have cool thoughts. If you don’t think about the heat you’ll stay cooler- it works!
