Sigh, Cy.

Opened in 1995, the Cy Twombley Gallery at the Menil Collection here in Houston is a museum that is not to be missed.  In a building designed by Renzo Piano, the artist’s work is shown off to maximum effect.  Sometimes considered an abstract expressionist, a minimalist, or even a pop artist, Cy Twombleys work defies simple description.

Often difficult to decifer, but always beautiful to look at, the musuem is definitely worth spending some time to enjoy its calm and serene beauty.
